Your privacy matters to us, and we’re committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, and protect your data. When you create an account or use Ascended, we may collect:

Personal Information: name, email address, and optional profile details such as age or fitness level.
Fitness Data: workout logs, XP earned, ranks, or activity stats you enter manually.
Device & Usage Data: app interactions, session duration, and device identifiers used for analytics and performance monitoring.
Location Data: if enabled, we may collect general location information to personalize challenges, events, or content.
Communication Data: messages, support requests, or preferences if you contact us or join our mailing list.

We do not automatically collect biometric data or health data from third-party devices or apps.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

Create and manage your Ascended account
Track progress, XP, ranks, and achievements
Improve app functionality, content, and user experience
Analyze engagement and performance metrics
Send notifications, updates, and offers (if you opt in)
Respond to customer support requests

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers to help operate Ascended. These providers may process data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policies:

Supabase – authentication, database storage, and secure hosting
Amplitude – analytics and behavior tracking
Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) & TikTok Pixel – ad attribution and performance tracking
Google Looker Studio – reporting and data visualization
Mailchimp – email communications
OneSignal – push notifications

These services may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics or advertising purposes. We require all providers to comply with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR where relevant.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services or comply with legal obligations.

Currently, users cannot delete their accounts directly through the app. You may request data deletion at any time by contacting info@levelup-fitness.com. Upon verification, we will permanently delete your personal information within 30 days.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Information is encrypted in transit and at rest via Supabase and secured using industry-standard practices. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

6. International Data Transfers

Ascended operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure such transfers comply with GDPR and other applicable regulations.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access, correct, or delete your personal data
